Call Out for Writing and Artistic Work for our Anthology
We want to hear your stories: this curated collection will feature non-fiction and fiction, short stories, poems, essays, illustrations and artwork that delve into the realities of Black Britain. We seek to capture the full spectrum of your experiences: the joys and challenges, the triumphs and struggles, and the unique perspectives that have shaped your lives. The literary and written anthology will be part of the wider artistic programme to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1965 Race Relations Act.

Finding Your Roots
Finding Your Roots offers an extraordinary opportunity for a Bristol individual with African-Caribbean ancestry to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery. This unique initiative provides a bursary to explore your family’s ancestral history, uncovering stories of the past and bringing your family tree to life. Through the project, we will support an individual from Bristol with African-Caribbean ancestry, and a deep desire to explore their heritage, to go on a journey of discovery into their ancestral roots.

Join Signpost To Skills
Our programme Signpost to Skills will work with three cohorts to equip them with the skills, confidence, networks and opportunities to secure employment, places in training programmes, or volunteering which can lead to employment, or with the skills and knowledge to set up their own social enterprise.
