What’s on – Nature Rising

Watch out for details on our social media…

We’re delighted to be partnering with We The Curious to celebrate the successes of Nature Rising, our Global Majority communities, and ask how we can work together to care for nature and each other.

Click on our exhibition booklet to find out all about Nature Rising and the people involved:

Nature Rising features an impressive lineup of Bristol’s most energizing community leaders! Throughout the programme, we have connected with, and learned alongside…

The Pollinator Garden: three incredible workshops for refugees and asylum seekers, showcasing the healing power of Mother Earth!

Elsie taught foraging, learning about sustainable herb growing, and exchanging knowledge on herbal medicine at the beautiful Bridge Farm.

The Wildflower Playgrounds Project: four lively workshops teaching nursery children and teachers how to plant and grow wildlife!

The children watered and cared for the wildflowers over the Summer and are now less scared of bees!!

Nature Rising Celebration: a world-class showcase in September to celebrate the closing of our project!

We connected through music, art, storytelling, food and nature with a line-up of Bristol’s most talented artists!

  • Judit Davis: Flourishing in St Pauls

Judit shared her thoughts on the amazing Plant Power Film!

As well as the incredible…

Gnisha is working tirelessly behind the scenes, creating new opportunities, setting up partnerships, applying for funding and making sure things work as smoothly as possible. She is also the Executive Producer for our exhibition.

Roger has been working on funding and support to keep Nature Rising ticking along.

A huge thank you to Mike for organising film screenings, recruiting volunteers and organising training. He has also been working tirelessly in the background to make sure things run smoothly.
