An exciting new project in your local community!

Nature Rising brings together Global Majority communities to take action for nature. In this first of its kind project, we share our knowledge, learn green skills, and connect with community and nature. We’re supporting the wildlife that helps our plants survive and thrive.
We’re hosting an exciting series of events around St Pauls and Easton, run by Bristol’s most inspiring community leaders! And you’re invited!
- Amrish Pandya, Bristol Rainforest is working with Nursery Schools to plant wildflower meadows.
- Elsie Harp, Divina Botanica is sharing knowledge on herbs with Refugees and Asylum seekers to promote health for people and nature.
- Judit Davis is gardening with St Pauls community members
- Ian Solomon-Kawall, May Project Gardens, is hosting a September Come We Grow event to celebrate our cultural knowledge and all we have learned.
- Mike Birkin, Friends of the Earth, has recruited volunteers and run film screenings of Plant Power
- Roger Griffith,MBE, Tay Aziz, Fabia Jeddere-Fisher and Gnisha Bevan have trained for volunteers, with more coming up from Tara Miran.
